About Me

My name is Monique Gosselin and I am from Lewiston, Maine. I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in the Spring of 2023, with BFA in Photojournalism with a minor in Anthropology and Sociology.

Growing up, I was surrounded by domestic violence and substance abuse which broadened my perspective on the realities and hardships in life. My peace of mind came from exploring nature and the silence it brought. My passion for storytelling and creating visual media emerged at a young age and quickly became an outlet to express myself and the environment around me.

Currently working towards a masters degree in environmental conservation and management to complement my photojournalism degree in hopes of pursuing a career focused on our culture, behavior, and relationship with the environment.
